Andre Onana has arrived in Milano ahead of his move to dethroned Italian Serie A champions Inter Milan.
The Cameroon shot-stopper arrived at the club’s headquarters, located in the heart of Milan’s Porta Nuova innovation district, ahead of his official announcement.
Onana has already signed a five-year deal with the Nerazzurri, having completed his mandatory medicals in January, reports transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano.
The 26-year-old custodian will be joining the three-time European champions following the expiration of his contract with Dutch giants Ajax Amsterdam.
He returned from a year’s ban and has been slowly but gradually reclaiming his position as one of the top custodians in the sport with Bayern Munich icon Oliver Kahn backing him to make the world his oyster in the coming years.
The soon-to-be Inter Milan goalie helped his nation secure a World Cup berth and has been named in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers squad by head coach Rigobert Song.
