The president of the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT), Samuel Eto’o Fils, has received a mandate from the members of the Executive Committee to buy two new buses.

The two new buses that the Cameroonian Football Federation will acquire will be intended for the senior male and female selections.

“The Executive Committee, unanimously by the members present, gives a mandate to the President of FECAFOOT for the purchase of two (02) new buses for the male and female senior selections and for the renewal of the FECAFOOT car fleet”, reports the final communiqué of the Executive Committee.

The Committee meeting was held this Friday, August 26, 2022, at the Best Western hotel in Douala, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., under the chairmanship of Samuel Eto’o Fils.

This announcement of the acquisition of two new buses for the senior male and female selections is good news. However, 8 months after the holding of the African Cup of Nations AFCON2021, one is led to wonder about what became of the 24 buses which had been acquired and which were used to transport the 24 national teams engaged in Afcon 2021.
