I wish to sleep on a mattress before I die – Old blind woman cries
For most people, their wish may be too much to achieve, however, this blind only lady has the simplest of wishes thus if we compare it with most of the wishes of people.
Living in poverty, this blind old lady identified as Yaya Kwanjit stated that her only wish is to sleep on a mattress before she dies.
Her story was shared in a recent JoyNews documentary dubbed ‘THE FACE OF POVERTY’ and it was a sad moment as we watched her explain her story of how she went blind.
Narrating her story, she stated that she went blind after giving birth to her second child and that her poverty stated worsened when her husband died.
She looked very old but she attributed her looks to poverty saying she is young than how she looks although she failed to mention her age.
