On the occasion, Samuel Eto’o sent a strong message to the members of the said committee who responded to his call after the verdict of the Court of Arbitration for Sport which endorsed his election.

“It is a joy that is certainly shared, that of our historic victory at the Court of Arbitration for Sports. After thirteen years of turpitude, fights and counterproductive quarrels, Cameroonian football must now be played in stadiums and not in courts. Be proud of what you have accomplished, you have liberated Cameroonian football”, launched the president of the Cameroonian Football Federation (Fecafoot).
