The Archbishop of Douala, Samuel Kleda is reported to have produced a mixture of plants that have cured some Coronavirus patients in Cameroon. The news was confirmed by politician and activist Kah Walla who had spoken to Kleda.
According to CRTV journalist Abongwa Alphonse Achu, Samuel Kleda has been studying plants for 30 years. It’s believed that this could be a milestone for the fight against COVID19. Kleda and the health ministry are yet to make a statement on this.
This is the second giant move with local herbs after the president of Madagascar Andry Rajoelina has officially launched a local herbal remedy claimed to prevent and cure the novel coronavirus.
Currently, Cameroon counts 768 active (28 on oxygen and 207 hospitalized) – 697 recovered – 53 deaths (majority in community) from the deadly coronavirus pandemic

According to reports, the herbal treatment protocol for COVID 19 developed by Archbishop Kleda Archbishop of Douala is available at the premises of Codas Caritas in St Paul de Nylon.
The Cleric however clarifies that, he hasn’t officially declared having found any cure due to the fact that such cures are only declared by competent authorities after deep examination
